Medicaid PI Quick Start: Patient-Generated Health Data

Measure Overview Medicaid Goal
This measure reports the percentage of patients who sent a secure message with an attachment to their provider AND their provider saved the message attachment to the patient’s chart and indicated it as Patient Generated Health Data (PGHD).

Setup Requirements

To meet this measure, you must have purchased and implemented the Greenway Patient Portal. If you do not currently have patient portal functionality, contact your sales representative.
Denominator

Patients who had a non-voided, face-to-face visit with an eligible provider checked-in during the measurement period.

The measurement period is set in Prime Suite Reporting 2020.
Numerator

Patients where the following occurred during the measurement period:

  • The patient sent a message with an attachment containing clinical data via the patient portal to the provider.
  • The message attachment was saved to the patient’s chart in Prime Suite.

Selecting Administration when importing the document to chart will not qualify for the numerator. You must select Chart to qualify.

  • The Contains patient generated health data check box is selected for the document.
