Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Measures
This section describes the Prime Suite workflows that support the 2020 Medicaid Promoting Interoperability measures available in Prime Suite Reporting 2020.
Before using Prime Suite Reporting, you must configure a provider group in Prime Suite's Group Administration. See Including Data on Prime Suite Reporting for more information.

The patient or the authorized patient representative is provided timely access to view online, download, and transmit his or her health information, and the patient's health information is available to access using any application of their choice that is configured to meet the technical specifications of the Application Programming Interface (API) in Prime Suite. |

The EP must use clinically relevant information from Prime Suite to identify patient-specific educational resources and provide electronic access to those materials. |

Patients seen by the EP (or their authorized representatives) actively engage with the EHR made accessible by the EP and either: (1) View, download, or transmit to a third party their health information; or (2) Access their health information through the use of an Application Programming Interface (API) that can be used by applications chosen by the patient and configured to the Prime Suite API; or (3) A combination of (1) and (2). |

Measure 1, Create and Exchange Summary of Care |
The EP that transitions or refers their patient to another setting of care or health care provider creates a summary of care record with Prime Suite and electronically exchanges the summary of care record. |

The EP with a new patient receives or retrieves a summary of care document and incorporates it into the patient's chart in Prime Suite. |

The EP with a new patient performs a review of the patient's medications, medication allergies, and current problem list. |
